Gavelist bills per lot cataloged, never as a share of the sale: every plan takes 0% of your auction sales. A new account's first 100 lots are free, with no card required. The costs above cover the per-lot cataloging price only; opt-in add-ons (comps and product photos) are billed separately, only when delivered.

What counts as a lot?
One lot is one item (or group of items) that gets a single description. If you photograph a set of 6 chairs and describe them as one lot, that's one lot.
Do I need a credit card for the free trial?
No. Sign up and catalog up to 100 lots completely free — no card required. Free lots are good for 30 days from your first described lot.
What happens if I go over my monthly lot limit?
Additional lots are billed at $0.09 each, automatically metered. No surprises.
Is the AI the same on every plan?
Yes. Every plan uses the same specialist-grade multi-photo AI. There are no quality tiers or feature gates.
Can I switch plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or switch to pay-as-you-go at any time. Changes take effect at your next billing cycle.
What export formats are included?
Every paid plan, including pay-as-you-go, includes every export. Gavelist exports ready-made files for HiBid, LiveAuctioneers, Proxibid, BidWrangler, AuctionNinja and Auction Flex 360, an import workbook for Auctioneer Software, an eBay drafts CSV, and a generic CSV for AuctionZip, AuctionMethod, Wavebid and any other spreadsheet-import platform. No format costs extra.
Does Gavelist take a percentage of my auction sales?
No. Gavelist charges per lot cataloged and takes 0% of your auction sales on every plan, including pay-as-you-go. The bidding platform you sell on may charge its own fees.
What do add-ons cost?
Comps with a value range are 15 cents per lot and a product photo is 15 cents per accepted photo, or 25 cents when both are delivered on the same lot. Both are off by default, you turn them on yourself in Settings, and you are charged only when they are delivered. Each comp shows its source, and current listings are labeled as asking prices. The free trial includes 10 comps lots and 10 product-photo lots.
